May of 2015… A 17 acre land that housed a asparagus farm became available after the owners stopped farming, the farm was left in a disarray, high tunnel buildings broken, chicken coops broken, the fields over crowded with weeds, the pond missing some banks and wetland grass overtaking the productive sections of the farm…

We have been working on restoring it all, built the house, planted asparagus fields, cleaned the pond, trimmed the decorative trees and leveled the fields to make room for new seedlings…

The idea for this farm and it’s assortment of produce evolved rather simply no chemical, given the soil content and proximity to water for climate effect, high water table in the ground, level fields open to the sun contributed to the special, “boutique like”, selection of items to grow – asparagus, garlic, specialty onions, selective gourmet potatoes, rhubarb, decorative trees – winterberry, corkscrew willows, pussy willows, hydrangea, and lavender, as the base yearly crops.

Since we started, every year we look to develop additional areas to grow produce that enhances the collection – chickens (2018), grapes (2018), Brussels Sprouts (2019), Winter Squash (2020), sunflower field (2020) and coming this spring/summer 2021 – early green leaf veggies from the High Tunnel that we built.

We are here to serve the community that started to recognize us as a local establishment for all the produce that we harvest.
